August 2022 – Phillip Seewalker, a RRI resident worker, made the news on KFYR-TV and explains how he incorporates his cultural heritage into an artistic talent he never thought he had by creating decorative teepees.

June 2022 – If you’ve ever walked into the showroom at RRI, you’ve probably noticed a wooden teepee or two. Teepees are hand-crafted, uniquely designed, and painted by one of RRI’s talented Native American resident staff, making them 100% authentic to Native American culture and heritage. January 2022 – RRI manufactured “search boxes” for the Bismarck Police Department to be used for K-9 training.

April 2020 – Jamestown River Correctional Center (JRCC) residents make masks and gowns for North Dakota agencies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our JRCC team is doing a great job of converting their normal operations into mask and gown production.
